I’m a native Texan and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business from SMU.  I’ve been in business for 40+ years, first in restaurant management and ownership with Red Robin and Hudson’s Grill and now in the residential mortgage industry.  My years in the restaurant industry managing employees, working with guests and structuring the financial packages for new stores has really helped me in my career as a mortgage banker.  That, combined with my formal education, has provided me a great foundation for working with my clients to get the best mortgage for their specific needs.  

I’m not the normal 9 to 5 banker.  I work evenings and weekends with clients as necessary.  When I’m not working, I can be found fishing the lakes of Southern California or spending time with my wife, Cheryl, who I first met 32 years ago.  My view of life is to take it one day at a time and not worry about the small stuff but rather focus on the things I can control. 

I understand the stress people can have when buying or refinancing a home.  I believe it’s important to be honest with people and give them a reason to trust you.  Frankly, our industry has had its share of issues when it comes to doing the right thing for the client.  My goal is not just to close a loan with you today, but again in the future as well as with your friends and family.
