A veteran of Dignified Home Loans since 2012, Tyler Smith serves as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer, where he directs its financial health and long-term strategy. His leadership is defined by a comprehensive, ground-level understanding of the mortgage industry, gained entirely from within the company.

Tyler's career path has given him a unique 360-degree view of the business. He started in Sales, building relationships with clients and understanding their needs. He then moved to Training, where he helped cultivate the company’s talent, followed by a critical role in the Secondary Marketing department, managing risk and capital markets strategy.

This diverse experience—from client-facing roles to complex financial operations—is the foundation of his leadership style. As CAO, Tyler ensures that our financial strategies are not only sound but also fully aligned with our mission as a client-focused, independent mortgage bank. He is dedicated to maintaining the fiscal integrity that allows Dignified Home Loans to serve its clients and partners with unwavering reliability.

Tyler received his B.S. in Business and B.A. in Economics from California State University Channel Islands.
